ADR transport refers to the carriage of dangerous goods by road in compliance with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). This covers the packaging, labelling, vehicle requirements, driver training, and documentation needed to move hazardous materials legally and safely. ADR Direct specialises exclusively in ADR-compliant transport across the UK.
Do your drivers hold ADR certificates? Yes. Every driver at ADR Direct holds a current ADR Driver Training Certificate and is fully trained in the handling, loading, and transport of dangerous goods. Our operations are overseen by a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) and a Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA).
What classes of dangerous goods do you transport? We transport all nine classes of dangerous goods as defined under ADR regulations. This includes Class 1 (Explosives), Class 2 (Gases), Class 3 (Flammable Liquids), Class 4 (Flammable Solids), Class 5 (Oxidising Substances and Organic Peroxides), Class 6 (Toxic and Infectious Substances), Class 7 (Radioactive Material), Class 8 (Corrosive Substances), and Class 9 (Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods) including lithium batteries.
What documentation do you provide for dangerous goods transport? We provide all required documentation for every consignment, including dangerous goods transport documents, emergency information (Tremcards), proof of collection and delivery, and any additional paperwork required by the specific class of goods being transported.
